In order to ensure a safe move, we highly suggest wrapping all of your breakables individually before packing them up for your move. Here's what you can do!
Bubble Wrap - Best for Glassware, Dishes, & all glass/Ceramic items around the house. For and optimized wrap, take the bubble wrap and go around each item twice before cutting and taping the flap closed like wrapping a Christmas present.
Shrink Wrap - Best used for TV's, Paintings, & all big delicate items. Wrap the shrink wrap around all items until there are no exposed edges or scratch-able surfaces.
Blankets & Styrofoam - Best paired with items that have been wrapped in either bubble wrap or shrink wrap. Blankets can be used to protect items such as paintings and TV's whereas styrofoam is best used for fragile items which may shift around during transportation. Using blankets and styrofoam is the best way to optimize your belongings safety during your move!
Best for extreme delicates so you're not throwing them in a big box together, or just typical bathroom supplies & kitchen utensils. Best used for single person moving!
Great for everything that can fit into boxes. Medium boxes are best for those who don't have a ton to move while large boxes are recommended for those who have more!
Try to keep each box designated for a particular group, and don't overfill!
Overfilling is the #1 reason why people end up with broken things during a move. Less is more when it comes to packing in boxes so please ensure that they are not too heavy, and the flaps are tapped and closed securely.
Storage bins are best for your sentimental belongings, items going into storage to prevent rodents or weather damage, and overall best for those who was extra protection!
We always recommend reusable storage bins before boxes!
Packing TV's, Art, or Mirrors can be a bit more tedious than anything else, but is equally as important. Take measurements of your items which need to be individually packed and find corresponding boxes for each item. Unsure on how to find each box? Our Dudez have the answer for you! Bags, Bags, Bags! We love when customers use bags for their cloths, blankets, and other fabrics! It acts as filler in the truck during transportation and adds an extra layer of safety and peace of mind!
Just make sure you're using high-quality bags as cheap bags can rip during the move and ruin your favourite shirt!
